These walls are the back side of a small industrial park in Tysons Corner, Virginia. A heavily populated area that has undergone significant growth in the last twenty years. My interest was in the simplicity of the building and how I could use the camera and lenses to accentuate or add interest to it.

All these images are part of an on going "Industrial" series. I am not actively seeking out industrial site but merely finding places that appeal to my graphic sensibilities and photographing them. The connection for me is nteresting in that at the very beginning of my interest in photography, I did work that was similar to these pictures.
Now I understand myself more and my motivation and interests more. They are an interesting adjunct to my architectural work, which is what I do professionally.
